Soft Lens for Myopia Control

Ask us about a clinical trial for an FDA-approved contact lens designed to slow the progression of myopia in children ages 8-12 years.

Participants must be interested in building-up to wear soft daily disposable contact lenses at least 6 days/week 10 hours/day.

Compensation up to $1,000 for completing all study visits.

Children in the study will receive eye exams and contact lenses at no cost while participating in the study.

Orthokeratology Study

This study will evaluate an orthokeratology contact lens that is worn overnight to temporarily correct myopia.

Lenses are provided. 7 visits over approximately 4 months. For persons ages 8-16, you will also be asked to participate in two additional visit for a total of 9 visits over approximately 12 months

Contact Lens Irritation

Blepharitis is a common condition that can cause eyelid inflammation as well as red, itchy or swollen eyes.

Dr. Holland of Cornea and Contact Lens Institute of Minnesota is working hard to find treatment options for soft contact lens wearers with blepharitis.

Dr. Holland’s team is conducting a new research study to evaluate how effective the study treatment is at relieving symptoms associated with blepharitis in soft contact lens wearers.

Epithelium On Collagen Corneal Crosslinking

You may be eligible to take part in this research study if you have been diagnosed with progressive keratoconus, a condition in which the cornea (clear front part of the eye) thins and becomes cone-shaped, causing visual problems.

This research study is looking at an investigational new cross-linking treatment for slowing the progression of keratoconus. “Investigational” means it has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
