Blepharitis treatment with soft contact lenses

Dr. Holland is conducting a new research study to evaluate how effective the study treatment is at relieving symptoms associated with blepharitis in soft contact lens wearers.

If you ever have red, itchy eyes, and can't wear your contact lenses as long as desired, we invite you to participate.

MiSight® 1 Day Post-Approval Study for Effectiveness and Visual Symptoms

Ask us about a clinical trial for an FDA approved contact lens designed to slow the progression of myopia in children 8-12 years old. Participants must be interested in building up to wear soft daily disposable lenses at least 6 days a week, 10 hours a day.

Compensation up to $1000 for completing all study visits. 12 visits over 4 years. Children in the study will receive eye exams and contact lenses at no cost while participating in the study.

Orthokeratology lens for individuals aged 8-18

Do you have a child who wears glasses or contacts? We are currently seeking children ages 6-18 to participate in a new overnight wear orthokeratology contact lens study on nearsightedness (myopia).

You will be compensated for your time for 6 visits over about 2 months.

Are you or your child interested in orthokeratology use? Have you been told you have astigmatism? You might qualify for a clinical trial involving Non-spherical posterior peripheral curves. Please contact out clinical study coordinator for a paid screening visit.

Neurotrophic Keratitis treatment

If you have been told that you have Neurotrophic Keratitis or have a non-healing epithelial defect on your cornea it is possible that you may qualify for this 10 week clinical trial.

You may be eligible to take part in this research study if you have been diagnosed with progressive keratoconus, a condition in which the cornea (clear front part of the eye) thins and becomes cone-shaped, causing visual problems.

This research study is looking at an investigational new cross-linking treatment for slowing the progression of keratoconus. “Investigational” means it has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
